Bottle conditioned, batch no. 040812arw. Bought at Memorable Cheeses in Ipswich. This fruit beer is an unfiltered and bottle conditioned wheat lager, not an ale. Cloudy golden colour (I poured the yeast in). Aroma and flavour are prickly and tart raspberries on a wheat background, not too sweet. Rather bitter finish. Not bad.

I didn't mind this. Besides the fact that you can't taste any rasberries, this is actually quite a nice wheat ale, light sweetness balanced by some tart wheatyness and some hops at the finish and some prickly maltyness, the light tart and acidic notes make it quite refreshing. Maybe it was coz i was in an extra good mood, but i liked it. Nothing spectacular, but quite drinkable.
