Glorious Basker. A witbier at growler guys where I had this one filled, but a blood orange wheat beer on the brewer's website (and in my glass). Cloudy and peach colored, before I knew it was blood orange I would have guessed stone fruit, apricot, plum, or peach. But not a witbier to any known meaning of the word. Flavor is slightly tart, with wheat providing a squeaky clean flavor and heavy carbonation slowing my rate of imbibing. As the beer lingers on my palate is leaves a sweet, slightly juicy flavor, thinner and more bitter than orange juice, but tasting of very real blood oranges.
