12 ounce can, best by May 20th.
A: Hazy straw gold, fair head of long lasting foam. Good lacing.
S: Cloves, coriander, light banana.
T: Same as the smell, thankfully. Still, I have had better brewed of the style from the US.
O: Decent Wit.

Poured out a hazy, golden orange color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of lemon, wheat and some yeast. It tasted of lemon, cracked wheat and some spiciness. It was crisp, sharp and smooth.

Served in a raised Tulip glass.
Look : Hazy apricot-peach colored body, only shadows of fingers on the other side. The head starts off at a creamy 2 finger height and stops at a small milky ring. Head retention is fair to good (2 minutes). Very spotty and sparse lacing (if any at all).
Smell : Not much going on here except for the typical wheat, chaff, and malt mixture. A spicy note makes my nose run a bit. Anything else is absent here. Pretty weak.
Taste : Starts off with some loud orange pith, leading into watery bubble gum and a malty wheat finish. When left on the tongue awhile, the sourness of yeast and bubblegum are given a chance to lift a bit. This yields more residual yeast on the finish after the swallow. Spices also bite and dance a bit and then settle in if left to linger.
Feel : Fairly flat-nosed, with a wall of carbonation out front and a clay-like medium body rubbing against it. It buzzes with intensity and ends like wax on the finish. A pasty feel is left on the tongue. Interesting, but really not conducive to improving flavor or experience.
Overall : When someone calls a beer "Quick Wit" (a few breweries have done it), although they are focusing on a pun (what craft beer doesn't nowadays?), I'm led to feel like the beer itself was simply a "quick idea", tossing ingredients into a vat and making a cheap and dirty sessionable beer with not much art going into it. The times I have tried a "quick wit" this has been the result. This version is no different. It's within spec for style but don't expect Hoegaarden or anything similar. It's really a cheap and dirty Witbier for those who don't want effort...just quaff.

Sampled last night on 6/18/15. Comes in a 12-ounce can and contains 5.1% alcohol (ABV) Can chilled down to 36 degrees F in my beer cooler and poured in to a 16 ounce pilsner glass.
Brew pours a hazy apricot in color with a thin foamy white head. Some lacing was seen but wasn't all over the sides. Aroma is of lemongrass, spices with some wheat. The taste has even more going on as there is some cloves, bananas and citrus zest also. Slight 'spicy' tangy finish. Medium-bodied with good carbonation. Overall a tasty brew.

Aroma is spices, lemongrass, wheat and a small hint of spicy heat. The flavor is wheat, coriander, citrus, fruit/berries and a mix of tart and mildly tangy in the finish.

Very crisp taste with wonderful citrus, clove flavor. Lacked the banana taste that many have but done in a good way. My favorite beer from this place on my visit.

Color is medium straw.
The nose is minimal.
Carbonation seems just about right.
Taste is balanced wheat/malt, with spicey hops.
Finish is lingering wheat and spicey hops.
Very balanced, and ranks above many others of this style I have tasted.
A delicious brew, deserving another round!
