Poured a light brown color with a small off-white head of foam. Smelled of wheat, grass and clove. It tasted strongly of wheat, light chocolate notes and some clove. It was crisp and smooth.

Poured from a 12oz can into a clear glass tulip. No freshness date.
A: Opaque dark brown with short cap of off-white head with a few fragments of lacing.
S: Very chocolatey and coffee-heavy aroma with some undercurrent of banana and clove.
T: Delicious with light banana, bubble gum, and very mild clove capping a milk chocolate and espresso mid-palate.
M: Light body but not thin with low carbonation. Easy to drink -- goes down very easily.
O: A surprising beer with unique mix of hefeweizen layered on strong chocolate and coffee flavors. A great style that is easy drinking but full of character.

A very dark brown/amber pour needed some anger to raise a head in this one. The head is small and light tan and fades quickly. The aroma has a distinctly Belgian scent to it with hints of Belgian yeast. This thing smells almost like a wheat quad. The taste is very sweet with Belgian yeast esters and the hints of toffee, banana and clove. This beer is quite tasty.

Wheat Noir? I see it nowhere on this can. Regardless, I'll contribute .
Pours a beautiful dark wheat color from the can and forms a chocolate black body, 100% opaque and a bit creamy. The head is also creamy, starting at 2 fingers, and receding to a tight guinness-like ring. Thick lacing left on the sides.
Aroma of deep chocolate, dark malts, lovely dark winter wheat, light espresso bean. A louder bouquet would be nice but I wouldn't change a thing otherwise.
Sweet malts galore, with hints of anise and chicory, sweet crisp snap pea, followed by cocoa and caramel, ending on a chocolaty finish. This beer is just beyond delicious. I can't say I'd improve anything on it. Maybe a bit more chocolate? Truly, truly surprised.
Feel is thick and creamy and delectable to start, thins out a bit on the palate, and then finishes roasted and crisp.
I wasn't expecting to gush on this beer as much as I did. I wouldn't change a thing on it. It's true beer craftsmanship. I'll be buying a six pack if and when I find it.

A nice balanced beer. Not too heavy on the wheat or anything. Easy to drink.

Sampling right now on 5/4/15. Picked up a few different brews when we went over to Des Moines, Iowa this past Saturday. Comes in a 12 ounce can. Can chilled down to 36 degrees F in my beer cooler and poured in to a 1960's vintage "HAMM'S" 10 ounce pilsner glass.
Brew pours a very deep reddish mahogany in color that is so very close to a pitch black! A small thin off-white head is seen after the pour that settles down to along the edges. Some sheets of streaky lacing is seen. The aroma is of roasted malts that is sweet. The taste is pretty much the same with a light hint of some floral hops along with a hint of caramel and chocolate. Not as sweet as the aroma suggests though. More of a Dunkel style brew I am thinking but could be wrong. Very smooth though with lots of flavor. Lighter to medium bodied with perfect carbonation. Overall a tasty brew.
