Reddish-amber with a dense, uniform off white foam slowly settling to a blanket leaving stalactite lacing.
This beer is toasty and nutty, almost like a Brown Ale, but also bringing classic West Coast IPA notes of caramel, grapefruit, and bitter pine with a crisp feel and semi-dry finish.

Slightly above average dipa. Decent nose with a nice hop presence with a solid malt backbone. Taste follows the nose, with a bit more malt than I prefer. Bitter carmely finish.

Received the bomber as a wonderful gift from a friend who visited family in Iowa. Had a taste for a DIPA and this did not disappoint. Downed the entire bomber immediately.
