Good Day Sunshine pours a tight golden amber color, with a head that fizzles out in seconds and leaves a creamy ring. 20% opaque.
Loads of fresh toasted grain on the nose, with light wheat in barrels, and a hint of orange peel off in the distance.
Flavors of the toasted grains and wheat again, with a slightly medicinal honey and orange cough syrup flavor. The medicine follows through to the end where it leaves off on a sharp piney-orangey bite.
Feel is both creamy and carbonated. Pretty good here.
Overall, I don't think I would have bought a six pack if I knew what I was getting into. This beer is a touch too medicinal and is nowhere near the high stature of their Sheer Madness Dark Wheat that I love so much. I have four more to get through (this is beer #2 as I had one this weekend)...and I'm sure it won't be a terrible thing, but there's better beers out there I'd rather be drinking.

Light amber, perfectly clear, very light wheat aroma, taste is touches of wheat & honey with a touch of Pilsner. Just a nice easy going beer.

Hy-Vee in Indianola, IA just got this in, so I thought I'd check it out. Came in a six-pack of stout 12oz. cans. Poured a 12oz can into an IPA glass
Look: Pale amber with a thin, white head that quickly dissipates, leaving minor lacing on the glass
Smell: Smells sweet and wheaty, almost like a farmhouse ale.
Taste: Wow! This has a lot of flavors that blend perfectly! Dark wheat notes with a hint of tang turn into slightly sweet fresh-baked bready notes. This is followed by a very light bitterness compliments the heavy wheat taste, leading into smooth, tangy, sweet honey notes. Honey taste is latent throughout.
Feel: Lightly carbonated, lightly warming, very smooth and very drinkable.
Overall: This beer is a masterpiece. Wheat, honey, and bread malts create a tasty, refreshing, overall drinkable beer. Highly recommended.
