Root beer brown, thin tan foamy head, and an EXTREMELY impressive lace. Smells very malty and sweet. Nothing too special there. Tastes malty as well, but too sweet. Very good with savory food, but on its own it becomes overwhelming. Overall this was an enjoyable, simple brown ale. Very classic flavors done rather well, but does nothing to reinvent the wheel.
