Pours a light orange tinged golden color. Semi cloudy and effervescent. Thick white head that acts like a soda head - fizzy and disappears quickly. No residual lacing or head whatsoever.
Aroma has notes of grain, honey, and some light floral hops.
Taste follows the nose with light grainy notes, a hint of honey providing some sweetness, light floral hops with a slight bitterness on the finish. Actually a nice flavor profile here - the honey is not too pronounced and the hops blend nicely.
Feel is light to moderately bodied. Mild fizzy carbonation. Smooth finish.
Overall a pretty well done kolsch from Kalona - this is one I'd definitely grab again.

On tap at Brew in the Village in Davenport, IA on 11/06/16. Clean, refreshing, smooth, highly drinkable, touch of sweetness from the honey. Paired well with my turkey and brie sandwich with honey mustard!

Can 2017: bright gold with sharp clarity and a thin layer of foam, not long lasting.
Aroma is lightly sweet and honeyish, grainy. Taste is grainy and malty, some yeast twang.
Body is light to medium for a Kolsch, carb fades away after 20 min or so.
Overall it's not bad, pretty utilitarian, can't say it's to style but it's not a bad beer.
