its shocking that there is no category here on BA for a mexican lager, which is what this is. golden and simple, its a nice easy drinker, well made as they go, and with a very clean lager yeast profile. i really like mexican lager yeast when its done right, it has more flavor than some other strains, but its still clean and neat and crisp, and its on display nicely here in this one. subtle lime note to it, but they also serve it with a lime, so its playing with my senses a bit. great carbonation even though it doesnt hold much head in the glass, and with a very fast finish. its dry and refreshing, without hardly anything left on the palate after the swallow. very light herbal hops in here without much bitterness, and fresh but basic pale malt in here. pretty typical example of the style, and certainly not the most interesting beer on their menu in here, but its a well made lager that more than adequately accomplishes its mission. the beer was a little bit all over the map at this place, but this was a good one.
