Draft pour at the brewery's taproom in Vandalia, Ohio.
Appearance. Dark, clear, reddish-brown body that looks essentially black but with ruby colored edges.
Aroma. Wonderful mix of fine porter, chocolate, and roasted peanuts.
The flavor is nearly as good, making this the best peanut butter porter I've ever had. The mouthfeel is a weak spot, but who cares with flavor and aroma this fine.

I tried this beer at the brewery as part of a four sample fight whilst in Dayton for my Bestie's 50th Birthday celebration. It poured an opaque dark with off white ring head that did not leave any lace. The scent had chocolate malt notes with peanut highlights. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with milk chocolate, vanilla, peanut presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with subtle carbonation. Overall it is a decent beer.
