I tried this beer at the brewery as part of a four sample fight whilst in Dayton for my Bestie's 50th Birthday celebration. It poured an opaque dark with no head and no lace. The scent had bold bourbon notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bourbon and tobacco presence. The mouthfeel was fuller in body with subtle carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.
