This is a new beer garden only lager they made, with Krush hops.
A: Pours a brilliantly clear yellow color. A dense white head rises to about two fingers. Good retention and lace left behind. This is a looker.
S: Grassy hops up front, that leads to some citrus orange peal and very light berry aromas.
T: Like the nose, the grassy hops are up front. With citrus, lemon, orange, light berry. Lingering bitterness is nice and dries everything out.
M/O: A medium body with crisp and effervescent carbonation. This is super clean and wonderfully dry. Which all leads to a very easy to drink lager.
For a "hoppy" lager, the intensity and complexity isn't all that much. Though what is there is sold and balanced, in a less is more kind of way. I really enjoy the restraint because the super crisp, clean, dry bite makes for something that is really easy and enjoyable to come back to.
