16oz can, taster glass for color then rest out of the can
deep brown with small head tan in color
light smell light roast coffee and hint of bittersweet chocolate, the taste was similar
was on the thin side
Overall my least fav of all the cans I tried still good but felt it with the thin lack of body

Had it on tap at the brewery. Body was thin and head quickly dissipated.

Draught @ Blue Mermaid Grill: This one pours an opaque dark brown color. There was a finger of a tan head. Some lacing. Good nose. Some chocolate, roasted malts and some earthiness. The taste is good. Roasted malts, earthy hops and a touch of bitterness. Very nice.

Dark, cloudy brown. Moderate head that creates scream small spots on the glass.
A bit chalky with a little refrigerator smell. Mild powdered cocoa.
Drier than the smell suggests, matching the Porter profile better than the aroma. Neutral to thin body. Good carbonation. Plenty of cocoa throughout the tasting ending in an abbreviated aftertaste.

On tap at the brewery. Sampled on June 14, 2015.
The pour is dark brown with red hues.
There is a roasted coffee sensation on the nose and some earthy hops behind it all.
The body was thin the medium.
Sweetness and coffee grinds offset each other nicely and lead to an earthy hop finish. Except for the thinner body I enjoyed this Porter.

Creamy, Chocolatey aroma. Sweet malty taste, slight dark fruits, bitter hops, impressive full flavor and body.

On tap at the brewery, where it was billed simply, modestly, as "Porter."
Pours very dark and smooth with a small white head. Very, very thick--I was amazed it wasn't a nitro pour.
Smells of rich, smooth chocolate, a little bit of burnt barley, and dry hops. Delicate but also somehow assertive.
Please pardon my french, but this tastes like the best gulldarn porter I have ever had. Sweet chocolate up front that never tastes gimmicky or cloying. This moves into a more traditional, somewhat raw-tasting middle of jagged barley, ending on an absolutely fantastic blend of chocolate and light, dry hops.
Absolute world class.
