Crowley courtesy of my brewing partner.
Pours a deep amber hue with sticky, fluffy, sandy foam that rises 3 fingers high. Sticky lacing abounds.
Smell is slightly piney, a tad of citrus, and a hint of a spiciness along the lines of pepper.
Taste is more along the lines of NW IPA's, in the piney, to citrus range, with an earthiness.
Mouthfeel is pretty solid. Goes down a bit oily, nice.
Overall, I don't know what made this OG in an East Coast sort of way, besides being slightly hazy. But it's a pretty tasty beer.
