A malty saison without the spice or funk. Pale in comparison to many others I have tasted/rated.

Surprisingly heavy for the style. I would have expected a much more wieldy mouthfeel. If a biere de garde is what you want, don't order this but you might like it for what it is

L: Had this beer on-tap at Brewmasters - Wilson, poured into a snifter glass. Had a golden brown color and a slightly hazy consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, fairly long-lasting head. Not much lacing to speak of.
S: A decent enough aroma of malt, citrus fruit, rye, vanilla, and other light fruits.
T: Tasted of hint of vanilla (kind of fleeting) some citrus fruit (lemon, in particular), a bit of rye (gives it a nice little bite), some malt (present throughout), and light fruit (pears, apples). A solid, light, and interesting flavor. Not as forceful as some beers of this style, but still likable.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a sharp finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A slightly uneven beer, but it has some good qualities. Worth a try.

Nice clear, Amber color. Mild head with a nice carbonation. Sweet malty opening with clove and fig/pear components. Drying hop at the end.
