L: Pours a nice light amber with a generous head depending on the pour. Nice lacing on the drink down.
S: nothing off-putting in the aroma
T: I really loved the taste with some spic notes from the rye. Not over the top but if you like rye you will enjoy this beer.
F: good mouthfeel for a 5.4%ABV beer
O: I'll buy it again if I can find it.

Pours a golden straw color, minimal head. Has a nice rye aroma, not very strong. Unique flavor - tastes like bourbon! Sweet and smooth, creamy carbonation. Very unique taste.

16 ounce can, poured into a tulip. I already recycled the can so not sure if a date is present. Bought a 4 pack 3 weeks ago in AVL.
Bright golden, minimal off white head. Good amount of lacing all around the glass. The nose is mostly citrus, some grass and a sweet mandarin orange if you get really in there. Taste is light but I think where a pale ale needs to be. Sweeter than bitter grapefruit, floral notes, subtle spicy rye. The body is fairly medium, slick on the tongue, rather nice. This beer is easy and enjoyable.

Aromas of wood box. Earthy character, but unfortunately no rye flavor.

A: Pours a lightly hazy pale golden apricot in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and faint lemon yellow highlights. The beer has a finger tall foamy white head that reduces to a large patch of thin film covering the entire surface of the beer and a slightly thicker than thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate aromas of slightly spicy rye malts with light aromas of grassy + herbal hops.

T: Upfront there is a light to moderate flavor of slightly spicy rye malts with a light flavor of biscuit malts and a light amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by light flavors of grassy + herbal hops which impart a light to moderate amount of bitterness which lingers slightly.

M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation.

O: Pretty decently balanced between the sweetness of the malt and the bitterness of the hops letting the rye show through nicely. Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol.

Look: It pours light golden in color with a white head.

Smell: There are aromas of rye, herb, and grass.

Taste: There are flavors of rye, citrus, herbs and grass.

Feel: It has a medium light feel to it with high carbonation.

Overall, the rye is dominate with the hops taking on more of a background role.
