Pilsner was originally created in the town of Pilsen, now in the Czech Republic. The trifecta of soft local water, revolutionary malting techniques, and local Saaz hops created the most recognizable beer style today. Bready flavors mixed with an herbal undertow make this beer an instant classic.

12 oz can, 7/4/2019, poured into a tulip glass. A clear pale gold/yellow, with a half inch white head that dissipates quickly to a thin lace. Aroma is bread, grass, and a mild floral note. The taste is mainly bread/grain forward with a the grassy floral notes hitting on the finish with a tinge (check) of bitterness. The mouthfeel is interesting; a moderatley low level of carbonation and a medium feel. Had been seeing this brewer through the glass over the last couple years, and never grabbed it. Recommended version of the style, especially when the weather is hot.
