A surprise Saison from this very small, local South Shore MA brewery.
I have enjoyed a number of their beers, but this one is my favorite.
Pours a lemon-honey color in a tulip with a 3F head. It takes a while-3-4 minutes
for the head to resolve.
Excellent aroma. Tropical fruit, banana, spice, pineapple and apricot.
More varied fruit than most Saisons. Very floral.
Light carbonation. I like this in the style.
The taste follows the aroma. Spice, full bodied apricot, clove.
Excellent finish. Not overdone like some Saisons. Zesty, spicy.
Overall: one of the better Saisons I've tasted in a while. Excellent balance,
and not overdone in carbonation. Lots of varied fruit. Good to see a local brewery
brewing excellent craft beer.
