Draft at the Yard House. Dark brown pour, small ring of tan head. Faint chocolate aroma. Taste too is kind of weak, some nuts and chocolate, but not enough to raise this brew up. Kind of sweet too.

If this was on tap, it would be a 4.5 easily. I’ve had better and worse brown ales. This is great for an ale I can buy in store.

Appearance: brown in color with a 1" head that lasted a while. Some lace developed.
Smell: very mild nut bread aroma is tough to detect.
Taste: sweet maltiness with some nuts, bread, brown sugar, and a mild bitterness.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer. Crisp to start, less crisp at the finish. Relatively short clean aftertaste.
Overall: an easy to drink brown ale that is a bit sweeter than others.
