On tap at the Fork & Brewer in late Dec. 2013.
A clear dark mahogany ale with a very durable, creamy, beige head. Excellent lacing.
Aroma: NZ hops with bready malts.
Flavor: Strong, with both dark roasted grains and earthy/herbal/spicy NZ hops. Notes of spruce, citrus and bready malts. Hoppy, hoppy, hoppy. Medium bitter.
O: a decent version of this challenging style.
