12oz can served in a tulip. "Freshest By" 09/17/19, so I guess I'm cutting it close. Gift from @mr-jj.
Pours a hazy orange-amber with a pretty big head and a lot of carbonation. Smell is citrus and old hay.
Taste is lots of citrus with a pretty strong flavor of old hops.
Mouthfeel is kind of fluffy. Overall, it's not bad. It would probably benefit from being a bit younger. I think I'd like it fresh.

This brew has a slightly cloudy honey hued body to it with a creamy head.
The aroma is mostly citrus and pine, however there is still a hint of sweet caramel in the background.
The flavor is everything you expect from an IPA with floral notes, grapefruit, subtle caramel and ends with a not so subtle bite.
The mouthfeel is medium bodied.
Overall this is a solid IPA.

A: Pours a murky amber hue with a lot of sediment with a frothy two-finger head and nice lacing.
S: Malty and peppery, with some hints of yuzu and lemon
T: As they themselves have noted, this beer is considerably more bitter than the average IPA is these days, not painfully so though, it comes through with a mild malt backbone and pleasant, yet unremarkable citrus notes, a subtle sweetness does lend it a hint of a yuzu flavor
M: medium plus
O: It's fine, but it doesn't exactly reinvent the wheel.

Poured from a 12 oz can into a clear glass tulip. "FRESHEST BY 11/05/17" on bottom of can.
A: Pleasing burnished light amber with huge 2-finger frothy oatmeal colored head with good retention and prodigious lacing around the top and all down the glass. Unfortunately quite a few floaties.
S: Aroma is dank and resiny, slightly "meaty," which I associate with Columbus hopping. Maltiness is not prominent with some soft medium-range caramel malt sweetness.
T: Flavor is solid and balanced in profile and is piney, resiny, and dank with softer floral and grapefruit contributions. It has some of the smoked/cured meat/umami flavor I associate immediately with Sixpoint Bengali. I don't find any of the tropical fruit they bring up on the can label. Maltiness is a well-balanced light-to-medium caramel with some bready Munich character as well. Low-to-medium bitterness. No obvious yeast character.
M: Very smooth and creamy with medium body and moderate carbonation.
O: An enjoyable IPA although straddles English IPA and American IPA in my mind. Very drinkable.
