A: Pours a clear copper-ish amber in color with light amounts of active carbonation rising slowly from the bottom of the glass and some moderate honey orange highlights. The beer has a half finger tall foamy white head that reduces to a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of slightly sweet caramel malts with some light to moderate aromas of toasted malts. Light aromas of pine, herbal, and citrus/grapefruit rind hops.
T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of slightly sweet caramel and toasted malts with just a minimal amount of lingering sweetness. That is followed by light flavors of herbal, citrus/grapefruit rind, and pine hops which contribute a light amount of bitterness which does not linger for long.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Light amounts of dryness in the finish.
O: Something about the flavors of the malts and the hops was not quite harmonious to my palate and felt like it didn't work. Easy to drink but not one that I will be ordering again.
