For an Anniversary beer - nothing to celebrate. I typically like your beer, just not this one.

I'm still trying to find the connection between smoke and IPA's. So fans of this type of beer, take this rating with a grain of salt. Haha.
Pour brings most of the typical IPA characteristics, with some Citra zest... plus some smoke.
Taste is Citra-ish, some bready malt, but the smoke kinda melds in and holds on to the Citra. It's like they're holding hands, and can't be separated. So, this is where I think smoked IPA fans will love this beer. I think it's pretty good (for what they're going for). Truthfullly, it doesn't stroke my hop lover's palate, but it's good enough.
Finish is more of the same, melded.
So, I rate this by what they were shooting for...nailed it. For my tastes I'd probably rate it down in the 3.5 range, but I really don't wanna knock 'em down just by my tastes.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
