On tap at the LA Beer Week Kickoff Festival held at Exposition Park in Los Angeles, CA.
Pours a murky dark honey orange with a foamy tan head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, tropical fruit, and tea aromas. Taste is much the same with grain, tropical fruit, and tea flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of earth bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is tasty, light, and refreshing.
