Black West Coast IPA • 7.2% ABV • Like light bending at the edge of a black hole, Jesse's 'Calculating Infinity' warps the boundaries of style.
This experimental Black West Coast IPA balances bright hop expression—Simcoe, Krush, Strata, and Mosaic—against the gravitational pull of roasted malt. Aromas of pine, stone fruit, berries, and pineapple pull you in, while flavors of grilled peaches and flame-kissed tropical fruit shine against a subtle backbone of chocolate and light roast. Bold yet elusive, this beer is a singularity of flavor in an ever-expanding universe.

On tap at Bottle Logic.
Black, small dense head. Smell is roasty, anise, pine, caramel (burnt), toffee. Taste is similar, maybe a bit softer than the aroma suggests. Some plum or dark grape, burnt toast. Mouthfeel is light, smooth, clean. Very nice black IPA.
