Right in with my local beer mates on this one, the rosemary adds some soft, soapy character to this nice saison. Woody, floral aroma, taste is also floral, some soap, some juniper. Slick, creamy mouth feel, more juniper on the finish. Overall the rosemary stands out as the dominant flavor/essence of this beer.

On tap at Bittercreek this afternoon... Pours a slightly hazy pale yellow with a long-lasting white head.... light pale maltiness helps pull the rosemary and any fruity esters that are present all together... There honestly doesn't seem to be a whole lot of the traditional fruitiness or spiciness.. perhaps something that I associate with orange.. body is pretty spot-on, so is carbonation. Maybe I am putting the cross-hairs on the rosemary too much, but to me it could use just a little more "Belgian" yeasty notes to really shine. Still very drinkable and I cannot wait for it to hit bottles.
