Nice pour tonight at the taproom... Ditmier and I enjoyed the beer and Molly's company. Pours a hazy amber/red... 1" light tan head has great retention and lacing. Nose is a bruiser... big aggressive pithy hops... caramel maltiness does little to balance... I like it a bunch already... Flavor is as bitter as expected .. bracing and unapologetic with every sip... Thicker than expected for a 6.6% beer... Still is very drinkable just because it is so well done.. No doubt Woodland is doing hops well. Impressive.
