Appearance: Pours a cloudy apricot nectar color; frothy and threatening to spume from the bottle, the head is relatively modest and they lacing is splashy
Smell: Lactic ginger and pepper tones with floral and herbal tones
Taste: Lactic, at the outset, with the ginger and the pepper dominating the herbal, oddly floral flavors; increasingly acetic, through the middle, with Belgian yeast and caramel sweetness, in the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with low to moderate carbonation; a bit flabby
Overall: An interesting experiment but ginger is a tough adjunct to work with and rather dominates this beer
Thanks, JohnGalt1, for the opportunity

Bottle from Woodland Empire. Kind of a dull pour, cloudy straw yellow color, no head. Aroma comes off more as a Saison. Taste too, except for some late sourness. I could go either way on this as a Saison or sour. Not bad.

750 picked up at the brewery... Pours a hazy light yellow with a short lived pillow white head. Lacto... A little lemony... Very tasty and easy drinking... Never would believe this is 9%... a bit herbaceous and fruity with warmth... Surprisingly good.
