16 oz can from Boise Co-op. Bright golden pour with fine, patchy head. Aroma is very faint strawberry, light. Taste is light, subdued, fruity, berries, melon, finishes a bit dry.

another really solid brut ipa from these guys, they seem to have the concept and the process down pretty well here. this one has strawberries in it, and really is jammy and fruit driven. it also has a hop in it called monroe (among others) that i have not heard of before i dont think. tons of melon notes to the hop profile here compliment the strawberries really well, and while i do think this could handle a bit more bitterness, i like the balance between fruit and hops here. a very jammy intense fruit thing going on here, so unmistakably strawberry, makes this really summery and sexy. it does cover up some of the grain character, this is basically strawberries and hops, but its beery enough even without that aspect really adding much to the flavor. it does go a little sweeter than i look for in a brut, but the fruit is so good i dont care. nicely selected hops for the fruit, and we liked this as much as the delicious blueberry brut they also had on while we were in this weekend. these guys are making some of the most interesting beer in town right now, and these bruts were exceptional!
