16oz can from brewery. Muddy brown pour, small bubbly beige head. Aroma is sweet, nutty, vanilla. Taste continues with the sweet dessert flavors, adding some roasty malts to the dessert palate. Smooth, silky. nice

A Tavour treat. Good dessert stout after a Christmas meal. Pours a dark brown color with a minimal head that lasts quite a while. Aroma is cinnamon and vanilla. Tastes of sweet vanilla and a hint of pecans. Smooth and creamy.

16oz can poured into a pint glass.
A: Not completely opaque black-brown with a large khaki head that fades away.
S: Vanilla is upfront with a molasses sweetness and leads to a pastry stout aroma that isn't cloying; there are notes of chocolate nuttiness as well as a dusting of spices.
T: Follows the nose well, strong vanilla and molasses blending with fudgy pecans and cinnamon/spice.
MF: Lacks in body here, but understandable at only 7% abv.
O: This is tasty; would prefer more density and body in a sweet stout like this, but the flavors and aromas are very nice and dessert-y.

A: The beer is essentially jet black in color. It poured with a finger high light tan head that left lots of lacing down the sides of the glass and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of pecans are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has additional notes of sweetness from the molasses and hints of cinnamon towards the finish.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a bit smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is very nutty and seems like a hybrid of a stout and a nut brown ale.
Serving type: can
