Bomber from brewery, cellared for 2 years. Small gush upon opening, but subsides pretty quickly. Dark brown with beige head. Aroma is both chocolate and fruity, berries. A little bit of booze, smoky notes. Taste is sweet, roasty, ashy. This had held up really well, shame I only had one...

This is Woodland Empire's 2017 Valentines Day brew. 22oz bottle split into snifters with the wife. Pours dark brown with some dark khaki head that fizzles away; mostly opaque in the glass. Roasty with a hint of char; jammy berries still apparent as well as some cocoa/dark chocolate. Smooth, creamy body with some nice notes of roasty char and coffee, with a touch of booze on the warm, dry finish. Still drinking great at this age.
