Appearance: Pours espresso colored with a thin ecru cap that fades to a ringlet and archipelago; leggy with speckles of lacing
Smell: Powerful aromatic profile with rich chocolate, maple syrup and Bourbon tones
Taste: The chocolate and maple syrup blend, up front, to create a sweet opening that is joined, by the Bourbon, in the mid-palate; there is a hint of coffee, in the finish
Mouthfeel: Full bodied with low to moderate carbonation; warmth in the gullet
Overall: The mouthfeel is just a little thin and the coffee has faded but this is otherwise an extraordinary imperial breakfast stout
Thanks, JohnGalt1, for the opportunity

16oz can from Woodland. Near black pour with silky, swirly brown head. Boozy, sweet, sugary aroma, hint of maple. Taste is sweet, cocoa, maple syrup and a pleasant burn. Sweet, chocolaty notes linger with a nice alcohol glow. They've done it again. Awesome stuff!
