i think is made with frosting or something, just over the top sweet, i knew it would be from the name, and because lately it seems like whatever specialty stout they have on is a sugar bomb, but this one really hits heavy on the residual sugar, still tasty, but unappealing a little bit as a pint beer because of the diabetes factor. that said, some nice flavors here, honey and coffee among the malt layers, roasty and chocolate forward, caramel and butterscotch, even like pink donut frosting, at least some glaze, it is what it says it is, but would benefit from a little longer in the fermenter, even cooking this up another alcohol point and drying it some would be a major improvement i reckon. even adding a bit more deep roasted barley, this almost hits like a richer brown ale in that respect. its cool that this even has a sort of baked confection vibe to it, like it could pass as having actual donuts in it. is it donut or doughnut? anyway, its a one and done for me but not because it isnt delicious. always groovy to come in here and peep the innovation, they keep it fun at all times! one of my favorite spots for a beer in town!

Draft at Woodland. Dark brown pour with a thick, creamy beige head. Chocolate and coffee battle it out in the aroma, with a touch of vanilla. Taste is mildly sweet, chocolate, light coffee, vanilla. Tastes like a glazed cruller with coffee. Nice!
