On tap at Slater's 50/50 in Pasadena, CA.
Pours a hazy honey brown with a foamy bone head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, caramel, banana, spice, and slight rye aromas. Taste is much the same with caramel, banana, and spice flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of spice bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a low level of carbonation with an almost flat mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with a subtle rye presence and a mouthfeel that could use some more carbonation in my opinion.
