Decent flavor and great job for a nano that is local.

This is a good pale ale. There is a mellow pine taste that is good, but not in the league of the big hitters. If you are in NH and want a fine beer for a great price, this will fit the bill. Bombers are a bargain. That being said, this is not one of Out Haus's best offerings - but still pretty good.

Bought from Craft Beer Cellar in Nashua and poured into a standard kitchen glass.

A-Dark amber, nice white head about two fingers high (4).

S- Some citrus notes alongside earthy and floral hops, some cider notes, bready malts. More complex than I was anticipating (4.25)

T- Sharp malt (amber malt maybe?), some caramel in there alongside a noticeable English hop presence. It's got more earthy and floral notes than citrus. I also detect a faint spice note, cinnamon, clove, something along that line. (3.75)

M- Watery, somewhat thin. Not as crisp as other pale ales I've had (3.25)

O- Not a bad pale ale, more on the English side (as one other reviewer noted), it's too bad the mouthfeel did not carry this one further, had it been a bit more crisp I would have given it a higher rating. Nonetheless, a decent offering from this relatively new company. I am certainly enjoying their stuff! (3.81 overall score)

A - Crystal clear light amber body with foamy off-white head. Ok retention and no real lacing to speak of.

S - Orange rind and caramel.

T - Strong citrus upfront. Orange and lime. Sugary malts, caramel and cherries.

M - Medium body with moderate find carbonation. Creamy and smooth.

O - Not bad, could more complex and interesting. Probably won't pick this off the shelf again, but if it's on tap I'd definitely give it another go around.

From the 650 ml. bottle bottled on 20 Jan 2014. Sampled on April 19, 2014.

The pour is an attractive look amber color with a long lasting cream colored head and modest carbonation.

The aroma is of sweet malts but mainly of the caramel, toffee, and butterscotch variety. Hops are played down but the ones I get are earthy rather than biting.

Medium body but highly drinkable.

Like the aroma the sweet malts take over the taste. Lots of caramel, toffee, and butterscotch in play. Low bitterness at the end. Definitely leaning toward the English style pale.

Bottle from Bert's
Pours a fairly clear medium golden color with a huge off white ehad that really shows some staying power. Aromas of caramel, butterscotch, bread, and toffee with hints of earthy hop aroma and light bits of fruity esters. The flavor is rich and malty with a heavy toffee, butterscotch, and caramel presence. Light earthy hop mineral water and sulfur provide some balance although this beer skews toward the malt side. Medium body with moderate level of carbonation and a sweet slick mouthfeel. Nice apa that definitely is English inspired, and easy to drink.
