A - Black opaque body with minimal tan head leaves little lacing.
S - Coffee, roasted grains.
T - More of the nose light coffee, slight bitterness, residual sweetness.
M - Thick body, low carb. Coats the palate. Oatmeal creates an incredibly smooth ale.
O - This is a good coffee-oatmeal stout. Worth a shot. I think it's best features are the smoothness along with the drinkability.

Pours a five-finger light brown head that fades very slowly leaving a good lace. Black color no highlights, ton of yeast left in bottle. Good carbonation and medium-heavy bodied. Strong coffee nose and flavor is burnt but smooth coffee. Sticker on bottom has ABV at 5%. $7.49 for a 22 oz bottle from Concord Coop Concord, NH.

22oz bomber. Pours a dark brown with khaki head the retreats to a ring around the edge. Some lacing is there and the aroma of coffee and tobacco rise from the glass. Taste is of coffee with chocolate, tobacco, and roast mixed about. Medium feel on the palate and a slight marshmallow sweetness in the finish. Overall, a really nice offering and a stout I could try again.

From the 650 ml. bottle. Sampled on June 25, 2014.

The pour is dark brown with a thin tan or mocha colored head that settles down to a ring.

I get a good supply of coffee, oatmeal, and sweet dark malts in the aroma with none outdoing the other. So the nose is balanced.

Medium and smooth body.

The taste tends to bring forth the oatmeal more than the coffee. The sweet stout character is still there. There is a lingering bitter bite at the end. Drinkable for sure.

Bottle from Bert's
Pours a solid black color with a good sized creamy tan head that persists for a little while. Aromas of chocolate, creamed coffee, and roasted grains with a hint of sugary sweetness. The flavor follows the aroma, creamed sugary coffee with hints of caramel and chocolate. The coffee is very well balanced and compliments rather than distracts. Medium body with a light to moderate level of carbonation and a slick creamy mouthfeel. This is a very nice brew, I'm impressed. Light easy drinking flavorful brew.
