A - Took a furious pour to pull up a thin bubbly white head over a clear pale amber body. Weak retention but some sudsy lacing.

S - Not much aroma. Some citrus hop and bread dough

T - Slight citrus floral hop upfront with some spices and sugary malts. Flavors feel quite flat.

M - Medium/light body with moderate/low carbonation. Slick and refreshing.

O - I may have gotten a bad bottle. Everything about the beer feels flat, from the pour to the aromas to the flavors and the mouth feel. I understand it's a session but if the beer I got isn't defective then it leaves a lot to be desired.

Bottle from Bert's
Pours a fairly clear deep golden that borders on amber with a huge bubbly frothy off white head that dissipates slowly. Aromas of sweet sugary caramel maltiness with a fair amount of grassy grainy earthy pine hop aroma. The flavor is malty sweet with a firm hop bitterness.Herbal earthy pine hop flavors with a lingering hop bit at the end of each sip. Faint yeasty phenols. Medium body with a spirited level of carbonation. Decent brew seems a bit one dimensional though.

From the 22 fl. oz. bottle. Sampled Oct, 22, 2014 about three weeks after it was released.

The pour is a cloudy bronze-pale yellow tone with a short-lived white fizzy head that leaves little to no lacing.

The aroma is pleasantly satisfying with a roasted sweet maltiness making way for a slightly grassy or floral hop backdrop.

Light body but creamy.

There is a sweet m,alt flavor that kicks in at first but then the mild citrus or floral hops sneak in from the backside to penetrate the senses and leave a lingering bitterness. Everything is balanced and the beer is simple to drink. That's how like my session IPA's.
