22oz bomber: This one pours a hazy, slightly orangish amber color. There were some floaties as well as a huge head. A fair amount of lacing. Surprising not too much hop aroma, especially for a DIPA. Mostly earthy, grassy any maybe some floral notes. A hint of toasted malts. The taste is good, but uninspiring. Not much of a hop presence, or some of the underlying sweetness you would expect from a DIPA. A medium malt body in the background. I probably won’t be searching this one out again.

From the 650 ml. bottle. Spring 2015 batch. Sampled on April 25, 2015.
A very heady pour. Too much carbonation over that slightly hazy medium amber color.
For a DIPA I am picking up more of a toasted malt character on the nose and the hops come across as a little muted. But the hops I get are earthy , grassy and resiny.
A mostly medium body that holds together well despite all that foamy carbonation.
The hop bitterness shows itself a little more in the taste but I am still getting more of a sweet and toasted malt character. Dry ending though. This came off as more of a standard IPA rather than a Double IPA. It was easy to drink.
