From a 650 ml. bottle released in Feb 2021. Sampled Feb 27, 2021.
Handsome looking mahogany brown color with reddish hues when held to the light. Up top, a modest tan head.
Very enticing sweet caramel and toffee malt aromas greet the nose. Earthy with a touch of peat. No alcohol sensations for 9%.
Medium to heavy body.
Sweet caramel malt taste with a lower profile earthy hop background and a semi-dry finish. Actually quite an easy drinking ale. I am a fan of this style anyway so it hits the spot.
