Pours a cloudy, bubbly golden color with a froth, big white head.
Smells of grass, white bread dough and a toffee softness. Atop of this foundation settles a well nuanced note of fresh squeezed lime peel, dried blueberries and a whiff of ice bonbons.
Drinks pillowy soft with lots of fluffy yeast, showcasing a perfectly balanced, medium bodied beer. Very refreshing during the beginning, dry during midpalate and honey sweet in the finish - very versatile on the palate.
Tastes of dried oranges, earth, a decent lemon crispness and a light tartness and some dough. Develops a peppery bite with herbal leaves and sweet anise. Finishes with more spices, clove and cardamom, herbs and rock sugar.
Spicy and soft, the advertized american hops don't add much to the profound pepperiness, which gets coated by honey.
