Dark brown but light passes through the edge of the glass. Small head that settles to rim bubbles. A few spots and streaks for lace.
Chalky, dark chocolate aroma. Slightly burnt.
Thinner than I expected. Semisweet to dark chocolate flavor with a dry cocoa powder taste. The finish has a touch of cream, but it doesn't last in the aftertaste which features more of the chocolate notes.
