This was yet another beer from Finback that I traded for fairly recently, as the date on the bottom of the can was 5/19 with "EQUALS 42" written above it. While not one of Finback's better collabs or overall offerings, this was true to form and had enough tea and white peach in it to be detected, though it didn't enhance this at all.

Not a bad pour to this as the beer had a golden hue but gosh, I couldn't believe the amount of sediment floating in this. Not that thick in terms of the individual pieces, there was just so much of it that it was hard to believe that this beer wasn't even a month and a half old when I cracked it open. A fair amount of light head and bubbles kept this from pulling me down too much though the lacing wasn't terribly copious or thick on the side of my pint glass. White tea, peach, and white grape were in the nose with hints of yeast, champagne, and more white peach in the taste. Dry and somewhat sour, there were hints of melon in the tone of this beer but never did it seem too heavy or bright enough to pull everything together.

Thankfully, the amount of alcohol wasn't high here as the easygoing mouthfeel was allowed to linger, before softly fading away. Maybe a shot of tonic water would have livened things up and made the feel like a spritzer. As it was, this was a serviceable beer that had a lot of potential but never reached it. Not bad but next time around, I'd just brew peach tea and skip the booze. Worth a go for those looking for a summer beer above the norm, but without any complexity.
