Pours a dark golden color, minimal head. Typical funky gose aroma, very nice. Sweet and sour, has a good kettle sour flavor, light coconut, tart, salty. Creamy texture. Overall a delicious gose, found some buried in the back of the fridge, nice surprise, would buy again.

wow! this is incredible beer, one of my favorite from finback to date, and arguably the best flavored gose i have ever had. these guys have done nice work with coconut in the past, but this is truly next level. the coconut is so natural in here, fleshy and tropical, earthy and sweet, bold and almost creamy to me, its insane, the real thing for sure, and it is perfectly set with the lightly tangy, wheaty, fluffy, mineral rich, dry vinous brew that serves as its base! there is a light toasted note to it, a warming thing that feels like vacation, and subtle citrus, lemon and an orange wedge maybe, that gives this an almost umbrella drink vibe as well. the wheat gives it a good foundation, its not all coconut and lactic pucker, and i like it being a little stronger than many, i think its well proportioned in that way. the coconut is strong in it, but its not overdone to me, although i can hear that criticism depending on how much the drinker likes coconut, but for me its just right because its so honest, such a likeness to a coconut itself, just delicious. i could drink this infinitely, i hope they make it again, its one of the coolest beers we had on our trip to new york this week!

This smelled and tasted like trans fatty butter popcorn and artificial coconut. Huge disappointment from this good brewery. Took a few sips and had to throw it out.

Can courtesy of Schlimenhaumer - cheers, bruv!

The coconut here is subtle, lending itself naturally to a mellow balance. Sea salt imparts classic gose tang without going too far and rendering it unrefreshing. Coriander could be more pronounced.

Harmonious and enjoyable. A highly drinkable summer sipper...good work from Finback.

Who woulda thunk coconut would play so well in a gose? Look out, Anderson Valley.

Poured from the can into a wheat ale glass. Canned May 29th 2018.

Nice and clear bodied, with active amounts of pinhead and cola sized carbonation. Creamy rich forming head, big and billowing, making a bright white three fingers and settling to a bubbly thin puck.

Aroma seems a little butter popcorn, seems a little diacetyl going on here, but it's almost crispy kernel smelling. So this is the effect of the coconut, and then later going back it's got a bit of those soft aromas and sweetness. After that there's unfortunately not much else, no salt/brine, malt quality or much of anything. Not sure how this is going to turn out.

Yeah this feels like it is loaded with diacetyl, too bad. There's a touch of classic lime and salt going on here for a gose, but it even feels like a great slippery butter stick. This added coconut is not really making for a pleasant experience. Tart but with the added coconut makes for a weird quality.

I can barely drink this and it reminds me too much of diacetyl.

Sample at Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2018, Red Session. Aroma has candy like sweetness and honey. Taste is a sweet, salty and tart combo. A bit astringent. Really tasty and interesting combination of flavors.
