Can. Pours hazy for a pilsner. Thin, splotchy ring of head. Some odd, spinning satellite detritus spinning in the body. This is a few months old but I don't think it is very hop-forward so we should be good. Aroma is nice. Some broken down hop. I enjoy the yeast profile. This is not meant to be a clean pils. It's unfiltered and unrefined. I actually enjoyed this and would like to try it fresher. I think they're pricing this a bit excessively.

I honestly tasted this, and the first thing I thought was they would be proud to serve this in Germany at Oktoberfest

next to some of the more robust beers on the menu in here, this one seems almost under flavored, simple and mellow, a drinker and a refresher without being particularly distinctive, although the high quality is obvious here like it is in all of their beer. a nice mineral profile, like they got the water chemistry just right, and primarily driven by the pils malt here, crackery and clean and light, tidied up to the max, and with such a minimal hop and yeast input, it seems a little one dimensional to me, but thats saying this alongside some hugely complex beers from finback that may have tainted my impression of it just a bit. i like the noble hop profile, but i would definitely like more of it, i always feel like everyone is so light handed with noble hops in beer like this, but there is nothing to be afraid of, and i think it could be amplified, even a little bit more would go a long way. overall though this is clean, patiently lagered, and crispy drinkable too. id like to revisit this one in a more isolated context to fully appreciate it next time...

A: The beer is relatively clear yellow in color and has a moderate amount of carbonation. It poured with a short white head that left a large patch of bubbles on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of bready malts are present in the nose along with hints of grassy hops.
T: The taste follows the smell and has a blend of flavors of bready malts and grassy malts with a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a little clean on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This pilsner has very balanced aromas and flavors between the malts and hops.
