A - Opaque medium golden tan color with dense white lacing.
S - Big citrus & tropical fruit with a touch of spicy fruit rind.
T - Citrus, some grapefruit, light spicy fruit rind, melon, and peach while ending on the sweeter side with subtle bitterness.
M - Medium body that's pillowy soft and chewy.
O - Alot of these New England style biggies all run together but this is definitely one of the better ones!

Good head production and decent retention. Murky orange body. Very attractive for the style.
Citrus-forward hoppy nose, along with touches of tropical fruit and bright herbs. Some creaminess and pale dough from the malt. As Citra single-hop beers go, it's not the most expressive nose.
Very expressive on the palate, really bringing the imperial heft, both in terms of alcohol heft and malt sweetness, to the forefront to amplify the perceived juiciness of the hops. Mango, papaya, tangerine, cream, cracker, white bread, and melon.
Smooth and creamy mouthfeel, along with a nice lively bite.
This is a very, very good imperial NE-style IPA. It's not without flaw, and Finback's prices necessitate excellence, but it's definitely an enjoyable brew. Not regretting the purchase of a 4-pack, but I may not revisit it after that based on the price point.

Poured into a 16 Nordic pint glass canned on 11/18/21. Pours a hazy yellow with a half finger sticky white head that leaves a ton of lace with solid retention. 4.5
Aroma is mango, tangerine, papaya, honeydew, apricot, and grapefruit rind. 4.25
Taste follows mango, tangerine, papaya, honeydew, apricot, and a little grapefruit in the finish, really well balanced. 4.25
Mouthfeel is above average, maybe a little sticky but not dry, soft gentle carbonation almost creamy carbonation, and at 8.5% really goes down easy. 4.5
Overall I am a fan of this brewery, rarely blows you away, but always above a 4 and a well crafted brew. 4.25

Pours a hazy golden with beautiful, pillowy head retention. There's some mango, papaya, and maybe some tangerine on the nose - may be a little bit of softsoap too. This is quite nice. I'm getting some mango, some papaya, guava, a little bit of artificial fruit gummy candy on the finish. Maybe a touch of peppery bitterness but the bitterness has a very small role in this. This is a really good DIPA.
