500ml caged and corked bottle served in my CL tulip. Pours a hazy burnt orange with a pinkish tinge and a loose 1/8th inch, effervescing off-white head that quickly dissipates. Nose expresses funk, brine and ethanol-infused stone fruit. Taste consistent with nose. Fruit presence is a little less assertive, as is the funk. Tartness comes out towards the back. More of a citrusy/briny character comes forth. Mouthfeel is light in body with a lively, effervescent carbonation and a pleasant astringency. All and all a decent wild ale; however, I'm starting to get a hint of plastic in the flavor profile. May start to be on the downward slide.

Murky pink violet, fizzy fruit soda, hints of plum and stone fruit. Pleasant tart and refreshing!

L: Pours a quite turbid ‘peach’ color, sort of a mix of pink and orange, with a very minimal head.

S: Tart, a bit earthy, with some sweet oak. Juicy with peaches and plums. Classic funk notes emerge as the beer warms.

T: Very fruity and juicy on the first sip. Not overly tart, with fresh peaches and plums and a mild oak presence. Bears a very strong resemblance to orange juice, particularly since there’s barely any carbonation. Mostly dry, with a pointed acidity that registers as fruit juice rather than tartness. Very balanced plum-like fruity finish with a touch of tannic oak bitterness.

F: Medium body with very little carbonation, accentuating the juicy sensation of this beer. Pretty fluffy mouthfeel with some acidity and mild tannin.

Thoughts: Exceptionally juicy wild ale and one of Transmitter’s best to date. The tartness is appropriately restrained, allowing the fruit to really shine. I hope they brew this one again because it’s absolutely delicious.
