Mixed fermentation sour aged in oak then conditioned with blueberries and blackberries in secondary that adds a layer of fruity complexity to this sour ale.

Pours an opaque golden orange, no head or carbonation. Nose is big on lactic sourness, musty and woodsy oak, and sour stone fruit (nectarine) and light raspberry; not getting much blueberry/blackberry character. Taste is very tart but doesn't go overboard, with some mild fruity sweetness mid-palate before finishing with a sharp pucker. As it warms, some earthiness from the barrel comes through. A tiny amount of carbonation, while the mouthfeel is on the thick side of moderate. Overall enjoyable, but it definitely drinks a little heavy.
