Like almost every Transmitter can I've had, opens very flat. Pours a clear, dark amber with little to no head formation. Nose is spiced like a wit or even a saison - baking spice, coriander, menthol, and a some masked tropical hop mixed with toffee. Taste follows, presenting lots of coriander, black pepper, and yeasty sweetness more than the roasted malt, earthy, and tannic notes expected. There is a slight floral note as well, but it's masked by the heavy pepper and spice flavors. Mouthfeel is slightly plus of moderate with more carbonation than indicated from the open. Still, an overall disappointment even with already tempered expectations.

Collaboration with Other Half. Hazy brownish red body, just offwhite head that falls fast and not much lacing. A little bit of noticeable booze on the nose, with some sweet dried fruits, corn flakes, biscuit, a little herbal. Taste follows, sweet, but not cloying. Malty backbone, a bit of cracker sweetness, a bit of booze. Medium mouthfeel.

A: The beer is hazy amber orange in color. It poured with a quarter finger high off white head.
S: Light to moderate aromas of spicy hops are present in the nose along with notes of toasted malts.
T: The taste follows the smell, except that the flavors of toasted malts are a touch stronger and also lend hints of sweetness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and clean on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This Oktoberfest is easy to drink and isn't overly heavy on the palate.
