Look up to a place beyond imagination. Where the few with a vision, never knew the definition of “can’t be done.” And where human determination was not measured by monetary gain. But by an ardent desire to get somewhere first. Ohio. The owners of the sky. Where the American spirit lives on. Flyer Red. An American Red Lager. A refreshingly smooth, patiently-fermented beer. Good things come to those who wait.

This is a typical American red lager. Amber in color with an off-white head. The aroma has a toasted, bread crust, slightly sweet scent. The taste is balanced, with a little malt flavor through the mid-taste. Light-ish in body. Fairly drinkable, but it falls short on flavor. Just okay.

12oz can pkgd 4/15/22 into a tall lager glass.
L: Pours yeast hazed reddish amber w/a 1.5" light khaki head that goes down quickly to a thin cream, good carbonation, no lacing.
S: Sweet caramelized malts, sweet yellow bread, gentle floral aroma, clean/fresh.
T: Lightly toasted malts, smooth, well balanced, grains, light corn, light citrus rind, hint of pine resin. Bitterness goes wide.
F: Light bodied, clean, smooth, a little bit sticky mouth feel w/a slightly dry med-fast finish.
O: I enjoy the malt characteristics of this beer. It is wholesome tasting and smooth feeling. Quite easy drinking, gently rich and is very good in it's style.

Pretty decent basic lager... Nothing much to look at although I do like the caramel coloring.... Smooth drinking and not bad for the style

Drank from a 12 oz can dated 1/10/19. Good looking golden amber color. Aroma was somewhat sour. No head with aggressive pour in pilsner glass and no lacing. A bit metallic taste with lingering hop bitterness, but not overbearing. Easy drinking and light feel. Overall I was disappointed and prefer Warped Wing's Trotwood lager. $8.99 + tax for 6 pack. Cheers!

The next day: I'm discovering it may take more that one session of drinking a brew to get a better take of it. After the first rating above (overall 2.69) I drank another one the next day from a can. The aroma was somewhat less offensive and smelled more grassy/hoppy. Taste was less metallic for reasons unknown and was balanced with a tinge of malt following by a dry hop that was pleasant. Quick finish with a lingering bitter sensation. Found it much more enjoyable and decided not to give the rest of the 6 pack away but instead it will end up taking an indirect path to my septic tank, eventually fertilizing my lawn, causing me to have to mow it, getting hot, and drinking another one. A true lawnmower beer. Still not my favorite from Warped Wind Brewery, but would purchase again.

Nice copper color with virtually no head. Smells and taste of bread and mildly fruity as well. Goes down fairly smooth and finishes equally smooth!!!!

I got this off the single shelf at a Kroger just down the road from south metro ice in Dayton, OH. It poured a clear copper with no head and no lace. The scent had faint bread tones. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with slight sweet malt base. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a decent beer.

Ordered this one at BW-3s last night on Brown Street while snarfing some wings and watching Game 7 between the Cavs and the Celtics. Nice chestnut color and well balanced in the nose for a lager.

Biscuit note and mild hoppiness makes this at least a touch interesting. Similar to the Trotwood with a touch more flavor.
