I got a can of this from the Kroger just down the road from south metro ice in Dayton,OH. It poured a clear golden with no head and no lace. The scent had faint grain and grass. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink....pilsen like finish. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's an ok beer.

Perfectly serviceable light ale offering from Warped Wing. Poured from a can and the next thing I knew, it was gone. Maybe not Superba, but certainly prettygooda.

12oz can, packaged on 02/07/18. Served in a pilsner glass.

Appearance: Clear pale gold. 1/4" initial white head died back to a thin skin across the top. Some small islands and strands of persistent lacing.

Smell: Herbal and quite woody at first, then toned down and became more herbal and noble-hop like in smell as it warmed up.

Taste: At first, bitterly hoppy with some significant woodiness to it. Once warmed up a bit, still bitter, but having a more traditional noble hop bitterness. Just enough cracker-like malt to temper the bitterness.

Mouthfeel: Good carbonation, quite sticky on the teeth. Dry finish.

Overall / Drinkability: Definitely let this one warm up a bit before drinking. When cold out of the fridge, it's a bit odd with the strong woody flavor, but then it warms up and becomes a strongly noble hopped pilsner. Not quite German in character, not quite Czech either, but a good pilsner once warmed up. I could easily have had another one but I only purchased a single can - note to self - try on tap. A good overall pilsner.

Really nice German Pilsener. Very smooth with a little bitterness at the finish but not overpowering. Very drinkable beer with taste of bread and hops. Would have again.
